Melbourne Cup Sweep
Looking forward to the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday 2nd November? Sign up to organize a sweep among your friends, family, and colleagues! Join in the Melbourne Cup fun while also raising money for Giant Steps.
How do I sign up?
- Email Steve Maunder and let him know you want to register as a Melbourne Cup Sweep organiser.
- Steve will create a unique link via the TryBooking platform and send it to you.
- Share the unique link with your network, asking them to sign up to your sweep online.
How much does it cost?
It’s free to register as a sweep organiser. Each sweep entry costs $50.
What are the prizes?
1st place $600
2nd place $200
3rd place receives their money back
Last place receives their money back
For every sweep that is run, Giant Steps receives a donation of $300!
When do participants in my sweep learn which horse they have drawn?
Full sweeps, where 24 tickets have been sold, will be drawn from Sunday 31st October until race day. Any sweeps not filled by 12pm Cup Day will be drawn then. Participants will receive a text message about their horse shortly after the sweep has been drawn.
How will winners collect prizes after the race?
Winners will receive a notification via text confirming their win. They will then be contacted by Giant Steps to confirm bank account details so their prize money can be transferred.
