We achieved our target to raise $100\,000 for each of Giant Steps Sydney and Giant Steps Melbourne to contribute towards over $5 million required after government funding to run the schools and adult programs. Over 18 years\, we have raised over $3.7 million including over $250\,000 during the two COVID years when no event was held. \nThank you to our riders and their supporters for their wonderful generosity and to our amazing support team who organise a great event and support the riders so well. The number of riders was down this year because some regulars were traveling post COVID. Giant Steps was able to continue delivering virtually full services throughout COVID albeit with adaptations to achieve social distancing and other measures to minimise risks. Even without the event\, our regular riders donated over $150\,000 towards the non event.
