The Giant Steps One Day Bike Ride is taking place on Saturday 4 December in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges. The ride will be led by Rob Crowe O.A.M. Olympic Cyclist from Ridewiser. This event is open to all riders and registration is essential. It is free to register, however we do ask that all participants consider making a tax deductible donation to Giant Steps.

Schedule

7.15am – 7.45am: Arrival and check in

8.00am: Whole group depart for 13km ride to The Basin

8.40am: Ride briefing by Rob Crowe

8.50am: Whole group climb depart for 7km ride up to Sassafras

9.15am: Group A depart for ride to Sherbrooke Forest (38km,1000m ascent)

9.25am: Group B depart for ride to Sherbrooke Forest (18km, 600m ascent)

11.00am: Brunch at The Basin

12.15pm: Riders gather at the centre of The Basin Park and depart for 13km ride back to Wellington Village
