Giant Steps Walk 4 Autism
The Giant Steps Walk for Autism supports the children who attend Giant Steps Sydney. Our students range in age from 3 - 18 years. Government funding meets less than half the costs associated with running the school, with the shortfall raised by the families and friends of Giant Steps.
The Walk for Autism will cover approximately 100km over two days (October 8th and 9th, 2011), following the spectacular Coastal Walk between Palm Beach and Botany Bay.
On Saturday 8th October, we will be walking from Palm Beach, to Mrs Macquaries Chair in the city (via the Manly Ferry). On Sunday 9th October we will be walking from Mrs Macquaries Chair to La Perouse on Botany Bay.
How does it work?
Participants are invited to join us for all, or part of the Walk - and you can walk as little or as much as you like! Each participant arranges personal sponsorship of their walk, with sponsors typically signing up to provide a one-off contribution.
All money raised from the walk will go directly to the provision of services for our children.
