Giant Steps 1 Day Bike Ride

42 staff, parents and friends participated in the inaugural social bike ride in the Southern Highlands. It was cool when we set off from Burrawang but the weather quickly became perfect as we rode through the lush countryside around Robertson and Kangaloon. Libby Maher, Wes Foster, Michael Douglass (staff), Barry Irvin, Mark Glover, Wil Wilhelm, Rick Karpin, Stephen Trickey, Steve Anthony (parents) and a large contingent of friends and relatives including children Ben and Josh Hodgkinson, Tasha Gordon and Ollie Evans rode for Giant Steps.

Kerrie Nelson, Claire Allen, Michelle Jocum, Verity Millard (staff), George White, Sue Anthony (parents) and Belinda Ellice-Flint, Debbie McKeith (friends) provide terrific Support.

Patrick Anthony (College student) also did a short ride including one with Rick Martin on his tandem bike.

We also had about 30 partners, relatives and friends come along to watch and enjoy the scenery and have lunch at the Pub.

Thank you all for participating in what was a lovely outing. We shall do it again in 2012 with hopefully even more people enjoying the day.
