The 9th Annual Giant Steps Golf Day was held on Thursday 3rd March, 2011.
This is an annual event on the Giant Steps Calendar and an event not to be missed. Regular entertainment includes a Gourmet wine and cheese stand located between the 2nd and 5th Tees. Proudly supported by Bega Cheese and Windowrie Estate wines, it is a hub of good cheer as players pass by on their way to the next hole.
Free on course massage, quality Vittoria Coffee at the “Coffee Break” stand and a “Beer on the Back Nine” with James Squire boutique beer, will keep you well refreshed and entertained as you play.
The golf is followed by a delicious twilight meal in the luxurious club house at Bonnie Doon Golf Club. Dinner commences directly after the golf, and is followed by fund raising auctions and prize giving. The evening is a celebration for Giant Steps and an opportunity to support such a worthy cause.
We thank all our great supporters and sponsors who have been so generous and terrific to work with in the past. Your heartfelt generosity is outstanding and because of your support, we raised in excess of $165,000 which is a record amount. We are thrilled and humbled by this result.
