The 2017 swim4autism event was held on Sunday 26th March 2017.  46 swimmers took part at the Andrew (Boy) Charlton pool and 100 students swam at St Aloysius pool.  The swim was a huge success and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who took part on a beautiful sunny autumn day.
Solo and relay swimmers started at 7am and the final swimmer completing the full 5-hour challenge at 12 noon.  The Carlos Cup trophies were presented to the top fundraising individual Amy Elias and teams Emily and Ella, plus Michael Banak who swam the furthest distance.
A huge thank you to everyone who supported this event including the volunteers, supporters, swimmers and sponsors for making the day such a huge success and helping us raise close to $69,000 for Giant Steps!
