Payroll deductions - Another way that employers and employees can support Giant Steps is through payroll deductions, also known as workplace giving. Together, business and employees can make a real difference to
children with autism. Workplace giving is simple to set up and administer and just a small contribution each pay can really add up.
Sponsor an event
Contact Michelle Jocum at the Giant Steps Sydney office for details of events and ways to provide support.
Volunteer at Giant Steps
Giant Steps greatly appreciates volunteers who offer their time to become involved in various activities including making resources, offering time to sell raffle tickets, helping during session times, etc.
Offering pro bono services to Giant Steps
This allows companies to offer their services for free that may help Giant Steps maintain and run the school e.g. clearing and maintaining the grounds and buildings, servicing computers or other equipment, helping with the print production of materials. Organisations who have helped us in this way include Gilbert + Tobin, PricewaterhouseCoopers, ABN Amro, Investec GE Capital Finance,
and Andrew Jacob (Photographer).
Bequests
A growing number of Australians are seeking to leave a lasting legacy of giving through bequests or charitable trusts.
Give a friend a gift
A wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion. (For Example birthdays, anniversaries etc.) is to donate to Giant Steps on behalf of the gift recipient in lieu of giving a physical gift. This involves filling out a form with contact details of the person giving the gift, contact details of the
person receiving the gift, method of payment and a message to the person receiving the gift. |
